FARCICAL ECONOMETRICS IN AFRICA

We go out there to borrow $50 million and then we come down here to plunder $500 million from the Public purse.
The United States( US) loans us $30 million in the interest of our people, but the United Stealers (US) down here in Ghana succeed in stealing $300.00 million. Isn't this amazing?
The United Kingdom (UK)loans us £ 30 million to improve the lives of our people, but the United Killers (UK) down here in Ghana succeed in killing our National Dreams by way of stealing £ 300 million.
This doesn't happen only here in Ghana but cuts across over 97% of the African continent.
I have always maintained that most Africans occupying Higher Offices, especially our Politicians, are magicians because they go out there to be loaned monies which are less than what they end up stealing from our coffers. If this is not an act of magic then I do not know what to call it.
Recently, it was reported that about an $120,000 (N36 million) has gone missing in Nigeria and there were claims that a snake had swallowed the said amount. If this is not African magic then what is it ? Some people in authority have reduced us to a crust of bread thinking we are so stupid to apply common sense to decipher issues.
We need to be fair and firm as a People in order to clamp down morally deficient men and women who have invaded the Political scene for the sake of their stomachs and pockets. Sometimes the monies we are told have gone missing find its way into individual pockets. Pathetic!
This is the time we have to smoke out those who have our monies in their pockets and closets. Over 60% of the youth have no jobs and such monies can be channeled into entrepreneurial development skills for them.
This is the time to fish out those who have invested our monies in Dubai, London, New York and other major cities in the world for their selfish gains. The Special Prosecutor has loads of work to do and must do it without consideration or compromise.
He must not only go after his opponents; he must go after thieves who have clothed themselves as Politicians. He must go after Civil servants secretly engage in shoddy deals to the detriment of our National interests. He must go after religious Leaders who connive with our Politicians to siphon State funds.
He must go after private citizens who register mushroom companies and connive with people in authority to forge ghostly contracts with an intent of diverting Public Funds. He must sharpen the two edges of his sword in order to cut across both sides of the Political divide. There are "Mensah’s" in every house. As long as the Earth remains, there will always be seed time and a harvest time. People who sowed the seed of corruption must surely reap the fruit of prosecution. May God help him succeed. This is not the hour of selectiveness.
God bless my Homeland Ghana 🇬🇭
