HOW CAN A NATION BE CONSIDERED A SERIOUS NATION WHEN ......................?

~How can a Nation be considered a serious Nation when graduate unemployment has ballooned to over 70% and yet NOTHING of any serious nature has been done or being done to curb the menace?

~How can a Nation be considered a serious Nation when about 98% of its TV and Radio discussions are centered on the NPP and NDC bantam without any developmental agenda to propagate in the interest of the Ghanaian People? The whole airwaves are flooded with ignorance and chaffs.

~How can a Nation be considered a serious Nation when Intellectuals who ought to fight for a better course for the less privileged have become so dishonest in their thinking as a result of Political Affiliations? Wrong continues to be Right as long as it has to do with a man's Political Party and Right ceases to be Right as long as it goes against a man's Political Party. DUH! What a People!

~How can a Nation be considered a serious Nation when there is an implant of self-centeredness in the hearts of people who have the nod to influence our positive development ?

~How can a Nation be considered a serious Nation when its People have been mentally programmed not to see any faults with Leadership when the mantle of rulership is in the hands of their preferred Political Party?

~How can a Nation be considered a serious Nation when it has gotten to a point where unemployed Graduates are so frustrated to the point of committing suicide nonetheless no one seem to care about this ?

~How can a Nation be considered a serious Nation when it has been engulfed in filth its Capital cities are clothed with offensive smell ? The whole of Tema Station and other key centers in our Capital cities are smelling like *sh*t yet we are offended when our Country is tagged a *S***hole**. City authorities are lazy and clueless with no innovative ways of managing our waste system.

~How can a Nation be considered a serious Nation when Leadership do not overrate entrepreneurial development skills but are quick to show an immeasurable interest in Beauty Pageant promos and rate beauty over brains?

~How can a Nation be considered a serious Nation when its Youth have no appetite for Education simply because they see others who dedicated themselves to study and obtained degrees but still roams the streets with no job or sign of an improvement in their lives? How does one see the relevance of Education and get encouraged to pursue same when he or she has seen others rendered useless on the Job markets though they had been through the Educational system?

~How can a Nation be considered a serious Nation when over 95% of developmental agendas are centered in and around major cities whiles a close to a 100% rural development has been left in the hands of Nature. Nobody seems to care and those who seem to care only act as Pretenders especially during elections when they seek for votes.

~ How can a Nation be considered a serious Nation when it's always prepared to act swiftly in throwing Cassava, Plantain, and goat thieves into jail but very lax and reluctant to prosecute corrupt Public Officials who plunder our National Resources leaving the poor masses to wallow in Poverty?

~Until selflessness and the spirit of Patriotism takes the very root of our Hearts, I think we should forget about our dream of getting anywhere near the Western Nations we so much desire to be like. The self-centeredness and avarice among us is too alarming and toxic. Until we learn to say things as they are, we have no chance of developing as a People and a Nation. It is only the TRUTH that can set our Nation FREE.
