Nothing happens for no reason. Sometimes certain things must happen for our own learning. A man had promised me of great HELP but after a little over 14 days past, I was told he's passed on. He wasn't sick as at the time I encountered him and neither did he show any sign of departing from this world. I needed him the most and wouldn't have believed he was to die anytime soon. I felt terror, wondered why he had to die when what he'd promised me was never fulfilled. In my frustrations, I ranted, panted, murmured and became bitter against God and wish he had prevented the man from dying until he was able to fulfill his promise to me. But, in my distress, what I have always pronounced and believed in was reinforced to my understanding. I became much more conscious of what the scriptures say about the limitations of man and how FOOLISH it is for a man to put his TRUST in his fellow man. Men are limited in strength and feeble to deliver except the Lord does that through them. I clearly understood that, truly, " CURSE IS THE MAN WHO PUTS HIS TRUST IN A FELLOW HUMAN." Aside the disappointments and change of mind that forms part of men, we are also prone to die at anytime without notice.
"Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save" [Psalm 146:3].
"This is what the LORD says: "Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the LORD." [ Jeremiah 17:5]
IN THIS LIFE, ATROCITIES,TRIBULATIONS AND MISFORTUNES SOMETIMES BEFALLS US IN ORDER FOR A TRUTH OR A LIE WE HAVE ALWAYS BELIEVED IN HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE TESTED.
GOD HELP OUR WEAKNESSES.
