THE HOUR OF TRUTH: KARMA!

Over the weekend, I heard the ranting and panting of Mr. Rawlings at an event organized by His prodigal Party. He had complaints about Ms Hannah Tetteh--Former Minister of Foreign Affairs. According to the narrative given by Mr. Rawlings, the former squeezed the hand of his wife ( Konadu Rawlings) when they both shook hands at an event. The narrative got me thinking and it has finally dawn on me that "Karma" truly works and as long as the Earth remains, there will always be a payback time. In times like this, I miss late President Mills, a noble man who was like unto Rawlings the Lion who mistakenly fell in the hands of Biblical Samson. He verbally devoured our Late Former Leader who happened to be his Vice during his tenure of office. Mills was treated by Rawlings like Christ who fell in the hands of the Pharisees. I have been tempted to post this because I remember vividly during the commemoration of late President Mills first anniversary, Mr. Rawlings also squeezed the hands of Mrs. Naadu Mills ( First Lady) when they had handshake . Painfully, Mrs. Mills hadn't recovered then from the shock of her husband's death; nevertheless Mr. Rawlings cared less and treated the woman with disdain and great contempt. Was she also not human or the wife of a Former President? Is Mrs. Rawlings of more worth than Mrs. Mills or does she has blood flowing through her veins whiles Mrs. Mills has gasoline flowing through her?

Late President Mills admonished us that " Di wo fie asɛm" but I ain't going to heed to that advice in these times we live in. This is not the time to hide in the closet in trepidation. The hypocrisy  and the "Holier than thou" attitude of Mr. Rawlings is so nauseating and must be condemned by men of Truth. He did same and still doing same to our former Leader, John Kofi "Diawuo"Kufour, the wise man. Some of us do not easily forget things as Mr. Rawlings may think or may be thinking. We have deep memories and for that matter I remember how Mr. Rawlings consistently disrespected our current President, Nana Addo, when he served as the Attorney General under President Kufour's Administration. You called him all sort of names, abused his stature, and demonized him for pursuing a case in Court against your untouchable wife. Today, you are living in shadows thinking that everything must and should go your way. If your handshake with Mrs. Mills cannot be categorized under "SQUEEZING " then what is it? Did Ms. Hannah Tetteh used a sledge hammer to hit your wife's hand when she shook hands with her?

The Truth is that if you disrespect people, then you should equally expect same or even a more weightier disrespect from others. No man or woman can escape this Law of the Universe.

This is the hour of Truth and nothing can hinder or suppress it.

Mr. Rawlings, give us a break!
