THE RELIGIOUS BROUHAHA

Over the weekend, after issues upon issues surfaced from the funeral ceremony of Ebony Reigns, I got reminded of some of my favorite religious questions.

I heard and read about how the Preacher who was privileged to deliver the sermon at Nana Hermaa's funeral ceremony portrayed himself "boastful" in the eyes of many who thought he could have left somethings he said unsaid.

Who did what and what he did wasn't right for Public consumption, they thought.

To many, the Preacher went too far and I am also convince that Christian ethics forbids the right hand from disclosing to the left hand what it does and vice versa. I may be wrong tho'.

In this case I wished all contributors towards the diva's funeral were given the chance to hold onto the microphone to tell the whole world what they also did. Maybe the funeral wouldn't have come to a close in a day.

Well, let me share these questions with those of you who are already in God's vineyard as workers and to those of us who have not been called by God to work in His vineyard but may be called some day if God wishes. As it stands now, some of us are not worthy to stand on the Altar of God. We pray for mercy!

Let me end with the questions. It goes:

"Can ambition that lusts after praise and place preach the Gospel of Him who made Himself of no reputation and took upon Himself the form of a Servant?"

" Can the proud, vain, bad-tempered, selfish, heartless, perfunctory and the egotistical preach the Gospel of Him who was MEEK and LOWLY?"

I think it's better to end here. No further comments. God help us all.
