Some People feel uncomfortable when truth is spoken but as long as some of us are alive, we will say it as it is when the time calls for it to be said. The Economic Indicators are impressive but honestly it's not reflective on the grounds. Some people may deny this for Political reasons but I have been much more bothered because some die-hards of the NPP, including myself, have expressed same sentiments over and over again. Those at the helm of affairs may not be feeling the heat because they are the custodians of the Honeycomb. If the NDC had people who could tell them the reality on the ground as I'm telling my own people today, maybe they wouldn't have lost power and even if they did as we witnessed, the wide margin of votes wouldn't have been. I know some people's Hernia has began vibrating because I'm saying what they wouldn't want to hear but as it stands now, the bitter pill must be swallowed. I have heard others argue that the untold hardships are as a result of the haphazard management of the Economy by the erstwhile Mahama led government but I personally do not subscribe to this explanation. Yes, I agree the previous government plunge our Economy into gloominess but it is totally out of place to betray the trust of the people who had hoped for an improvement in the Economy after replacing the Mahama led government. Do you think it will make sense to the electorate when we tell them things aren't getting better because the previous government messed up?
I'm not keeping a blind eye on Policies that have been implemented by this government but my focus is on how people are able to afford basic needs for survival. The concerns being raised are legitimate and I'm convinced if nothing is done to ease the Economic hardships, there wouldn't be any place left for us than the opposition parlor. But, I wish the NDC will never come to power again. This is dependent on our performance in the left 2 years of our first term in office.
Some of us toiled in our own little way to bring our Party into power because we believe in the ideals of the Party. For this reason, I will go to every extent of saying things as they really are, to ensure that the power we fought for is retain and sustain. The Truth pierces but at the end it prepares one for unseen calamities. A man who tickles himself and laugh cannot be spared from the class of dullards .
Those who feel unsafe when we say some of these things can go and bury their heads in Patapa's VGMA tea bread shoes and oversized coat; for all I care less. Our conscience cannot be compromised for Political gains. I will be the first to hasten to the rooftop to shout the praises of this government when things are right.
God bless my Homeland President and my Homeland Ghana 🇬ðŸ‡.
